Confusion

With the added weather effect I don't know what kind of game i should or would be able to make with the allocated theme of my project. A platformer game feels very dull and generic with just added weather function while a top - down feels too big within the amount of time I have to create my game.

Even if i create a platformer I don't know how it  would accompany the theme of the project and how it would relate to it as well. 

I feel a bit confused and overwhelmed about it.
